Language school withdrawals and refunds

Procedure

For all withdrawals, students must complete the Course Withdrawal and Refund Form and send it to [email protected]. Before doing so, verify you do not wish to defer your start date instead.

After withdrawing from a course, students have a maximum of one calendar year to request and collect their refunds. Following this period, refunds cannot be issued. Students cannot request retroactive refunds for past classes they have not attended. 

The Language School reserves the right to withdraw a student from a course for misconduct. In such an event, no refund will be issued.

Refunds

Your refund will depend on at what point you withdraw from your studies:

  • Prior to beginning your studies: full refund minus the $100 registration fee
  • After beginning your studies: tuition refunded as a percentage of courses not completed. Registration fee and additional $100 in tuition are retained by the college.
  • After 85% of the semester has been completed: No refund issued

For students with a Canadian address, refunds are issued by cheque and mailed to your home addressFor students outside of Canada, refunds can be done via wire transferPlease note that for refunds completed via international wire transfer, fees may apply.  Please note that refunds can take 6-8 weeks to be processed from the date that the refund is approved.
