Minimum requirements

In order to be admitted to an international attestation program, candidates must:

Have a secondary school diploma - at least 11 years of schooling (applicants must send clear and readable copies of their academic results of their secondary schooling, any post-secondary studies, and any other diplomas or certificates)*
Must have completed the equivalent of Secondary V Mathematics in Quebec*
It is advisable to have knowledge of accounting methods.*
Submit a valid birth certificate showing the student’s full name, date and place of birth as well as the parents’ names*
Possess a low number of academic backlogs (i.e. few previous academic failures on the student record)
Provide proof of English proficiency
Submit a letter of intent with their application indicating their interest in the program and in what ways it will add to their future career prospects (1 page maximum)

*All documents must be translated into either English or French by a certified translator and submitted alongside copies of the originals.

French Language Requirement:

Candidates with demonstrated proficiency in French (through previous education or experience) will be given priority, as French proficiency is now a graduation requirement. If a candidate's French proficiency is unclear, they may be contacted to take an in-house French entrance test.

Additional Information:

Please note that meeting the minimum requirements listed above does not guarantee admission into a program. Once accepted, students must also obtain a CAQ (Certificat d'acceptation du Québec), a Study Permit, and health insurance to complete their application and secure their place in the program.
