What is an attestation?

An Attestation of College Studies (ACS) is a full-time technical training program tailored for adults with prior education or work experience who wish to enhance their skills. Developed by Quebec colleges in partnership with industry leaders, these programs are designed to align with the current needs of the job market. Recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education, ACS credentials are highly valued by employers and various licensing and certification boards. The curriculum emphasizes core subjects and practical, real-world training, with internships at local companies offering hands-on experience and valuable networking opportunities.

For international students, the program is structured around 12-week semesters, totaling 240 to 270 class hours per semester. With three semesters each year, the program includes a one-month winter break in December and a summer break from June to September. The ACS program spans two years, culminating in an internship with a local company.
