Quebec secondary school applicants

The basic entrance requirement for students applying to all cegep programs at Vanier is the Quebec Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES).

If you are currently in Secondary 5 and will graduate before starting at Vanier or have already graduated high school in Québec, then you satisfy the general admission requirements. The next steps are to choose your program and make sure you satisfy all specific admission requirements such as prerequisites.

Students that graduated high school but that didn't complete one or more of the following courses may be required to take remedial courses in cégep:

• Secondary 5
  • Language of Instruction
  • Second Language
• Secondary 4
  • Mathematics
  • Science and Technology or Secondary 4 Applied Science and Technology or Secondary 4 Physical Science
  • History and Citizenship Education or Secondary 4 History of Québec and Canada
