Vanier’s Computer Science Technology program equips students with the programming skills needed to launch a dynamic career in information technology.

In this program, students learn to build mobile and web applications and games, configure devices and networks, and harness data to solve problems. Through comprehensive programming instruction in industry-standard languages, students are prepared to work in a variety of digital environments. Regular team projects and a 300-hour internship ensure graduates leave the program with a wealth of hands-on experience. They go on to successful careers in fields such as software and game development, data analytics and cybersecurity.

About 50% of our graduates pursue university—common programs include Computer Science, Software or Computer Engineering and Game Development. Many receive credits for courses they completed at Vanier, reducing the time required to complete their degrees. Due to growing demand for skilled programmers, Computer Science Technology students are also eligible for a Perspective scholarship valued at $1,500 per semester of full-time studies.
